With her smooth, rich, and clear voice, Danielle Westphal has established herself as a popular and entertaining vocalist.

Danielle's been performing since she was a little girl, but got her real start in musicals in high school. She continued singing in college with The University of Virginia Singers and after college in local theater performances.

She was born in Paris to a French mother and American father, but has lived most of her life in the Washington, DC area. She refined her fluent French, sang in a luxury hotel, did jingles for Radio Monte Carlo, and appeared on a popular French TV show while living in Monaco.

Danielle started singing full-time a few years ago after performing for several years with a popular vocal quartet. She now performs her originals as well as jazz, cabaret, and standard covers accompanied by some of the DC area's finest pianists and combos.

Her list of accomplishments includes performing twice at the White House for receptions for President and Mrs. Clinton, performing on the former Presidential Yacht Sequoia, singing in popular clubs in Paris, France, and performing with her jazz trio on the Millennium Stage at the Kennedy Center.

Her first CD, High Standards was released in June of 2002 and has been getting very favorable reviews as well as radio air time, locally and around the world. It contains 17 cover songs performed and produced by Dan Reynolds and musicians from her jazz combos.

Danielle recently co-produced and starred in Divas of DC, a very successful charity benefit concert that took place November 5, 2003. The live show is currently being produced into a concert special by OVATION TV - The Arts Network, for broadcast in 2004 to over 56 million viewers world-wide.

More recently, Danielle started writing songs and is currently producing the Maybe CD of her original songs which crossover jazz, country, folk, and rock & roll styles. She performs 3-4 nights per week with her jazz combo.
