Cosine: A refreshing mixture of smooth Latin rhythms, and percussive bass with inspiring instrumental guitar melodies and hot guitar licks, and you have Cosine. Mark Brooks, the guitarist for Cosine was formerly a guest artist on the recording of "Backlash" for the single "Soft and Easy". The recording was used as a signature song for the radio station WHUR's "Quiet Storm" also performed with Golden Touch, backing Eddie Kendricks. Edward Brooks, the drummer, and percussionist, recorded with "Backlash" and performed with local and national acts as well. In addition, he has recently acted in a cameo appearance in the film "The Head of State". Eva Njoku - Lead vocals for Cosine. As a native Washingtonian born in Georgetown, DC, Eva still claims her African roots of Nigerian parents. Full of energy as a child, Eva had the bug to sing since her early memories of a child at five. She began writing lyrics and poetry as a pre-teen and has performed (and won) several local competitions in the metropolitan area. She even made it to the Apollo Theatre singing songs from a few of her favorite artists: Anita Baker and Phyllis Hyman. Today, with a post-graduate degree; a child in college; and a dog that no longer spots her carpet at home, Eva decided to join the Cosine family with hopes to live out her dream to sing and hasn't looked back. William Dunlap-Keyboards (Bio being updated) James Randolph II- Bass (Bio being updated)
