In Baad Bill$' own words: I was born with a medical condition, Sickle Cell Anemia, in a third world country, Zambia. Since birth up until the age of 20 years old, I was always in and out of hospital. At the age of 14, I had a stroke, I had to learn how to walk again and as a result of that stroke, I permanently wear a brace on my left hand.
I discovered I could write music after a terrible break-up with a girl I dated when I was 18 years old, because the letter I intended to write her turned into a poem which in turn turned into my first song. I was discovered after a night out clubbing with my cousin at an open mic hip hop club. A friend of my cousin heard me rapping and liked me. Thereafter, he introduced me to Kharen and C-dub, two prominent international music producers who gave me my first record deal.
I believe I am here to be a role model, because of all I have been through, and also because I feel I am gifted artistically. My goal is to entertain, inspire, motivate and bring hope through my music and through my interesting life story. All my music is dedicated to my best friend 'Bwalya' - Rest In Peace! This was our dream and there ain't no giving up! I miss you a lot!!
